Just dropping in to say hi and to let you know that if you don't hear from me for a while don't panic! I'm on my way here. Thanks to unbelievable generosity from one of our respite funding mobs, I'm about to have a few days of still, calm, quiet peace, with added morning yoga. I can't wait. And am so very grateful. Wish everyone could have this opportunity. Will take lots of pix.
Am leaving behind my little family who have been outdoing each other in the antibiotics department for various infections, a just-last-night broken down washing machine and a husband with the Man Flu, who's under the impression that I'll be in such a state of blissful euphoria that I just won't care about what's happening at home. Well that's not entirely true. I'll certainly be caring that I have no clean clothes to wear when I get home and go straight back to work. Poor Sherby. Keep up the vitamin C and the green smoothies hon. You are going to hold down this fort like no one else I know. And you will most probably love it.
A friend asked me yesterday when was the last time I went anywhere on my own. Told her I think it was in my backpacking days. And I arrived home from that experience with a husband and a baby. Hello little baby Doo! Look out Gaia. Look out me. Just hoping I learn the skills to keep the bliss alive for my return.
So if you were thinking that lately my life seems all painting classes and trips to the day spa, well, just this time, you would be right! Hope you can find some calm moments in your week too. xx
